The Tipton County Pork Festival 5K Run/Walk is a 3.1 Mile Run and 2.5 Mile Walk on Saturday Sept 6th 2014. The race starts downtown, near Overtime, at 1:30 pm, and will finish downtown at the Courthouse Square in front of many fans.  The Tipton County Pork Festival 5K Run/Walk includes a 2.5K distance youth race, for those kiddos up to 17 years old on race day.

All runners will receive a finisher’s medal when crossing the finish, and a pork chop dinner in the Pork Court!  All adult and youth participants, who register by Thursday, August 28 at Midnight, will receive a tech shirt with the event logo, printed by Tipton’s Apple Group.

Packet Pickup: Packet pickup will take place in Tipton on Friday, September 5, 2014, from 5:00 PM-8:00 PM. Please make all efforts to pick up your packet at this time. An email with packet pickup directions/location will be sent when plans for this are finalized.

Race Day: We will be onsite by 11:00am for packet and chip pickup, as well as race day registration. To ensure we can start the race on time, please plan to be onsite at least an hour prior to race to pick up your timing chip. Please note, we may not be able to allow registrations within 45 minutes of the race starting, or check in within 30 minutes of the race start. Check-in will be at the blue tent near the finish line.

Parking: Plan on parking at the school, and taking the shuttle to the festival.  There is a cost associated with the shuttle, bring a few dollars cash with you.  The school has plenty of parking in the main parking lot.
